IRC Flatlander: 20" x 1.95". Tire has enough tread to grip when wet but runs pretty smoothly. Rated to 90psi, so you can pump it up hard for a hard, low friction ride. You can deflate it for a softer, grippier ride. Also purchase a 2.1" tube. $20CAD. Recommend (DT). IRC Product Page
Nokian GAZZALODDI JR: 26" x 2.6". The GAZZALODDI JR. is made by Nokian, the Finish tire company, that makes not only bike tires but all sorts of tires as well. The GAZZALODDI JR. is a 2.6" professional downhill racing tire that has a max tire pressure of 36 psi. On a mountain unicycle this tire is simply amazing. It's great in all weather conditions and I have not been able to say a bad thing about, except that it comes with a high price tag. The tire will run you about $100CAD. There are cheaper 2.6" & 3.0" tires out there if this is outside of your budget. I have yet to try any of the others. Recommend (CH). Nokian Tyre Page
Bontrager Revolt ST2 (Front tire tread): 24" x 2.1". Nice and wide with a forward semi-knobby tread. Not as bumpy as a knobby because the rubber knobs are closer together, so they simulate a smooth rubber surface. The tire does dig in when there's dirt and mud. Side knobbies grip when turning. Remember to purchase a 2.1" tube. Rated at 65 psi. $25US. Recommend (DT). Bontrager Product Page

Seats
Miyata: Excellent seat! It was a welcome change from my old seat to the Miyata. Both in the gym and on the trails this seat is a must have. It's sleek design and leather cover make it easy to get it out and put it back in for seat out skills. The handle in the front is a must for any MUni or trials rider. It'll cost you around $70CAD to pick one of these seats up. A note of caution: the seat posts that come standard with the Miyata seats is fairly short (300 mm, 11"). Lighting
Insight Ultra BRT-7 Rear light: So old man winter is rearing his head up and when you get back from work it's already dark. What to do? Ride your uni in the dark. But getting hit in the rear by some idiot cyclist is no fun. This rear tail light flashes constantly and can be seen from very far away. They say up to 2,000'. It's got 7 LEDs that can be seen from the back or the side. A seatpost mounting bracket comes with the kit and mounted pretty easily. When you're inside a gym or it's daylight the light clips off from the bracket so you won't break it if when you fall off your uni. The on/off switch is on the bottom. The only downers are that it uses AAA batteries, which are more expensive and don't last as long (but they are smaller), and the bracket has to stay on your uni. $9.50CAD. Comes with 2 aaa batteries, which should last 100 hrs. Also comes with an arm strap, but wazzis? P.S. I broke the light bracket playing unibasketball, so what do I do now? Recommend (DT). Floor Pumps
Beto Floor Pump: It's bright red and mostly made of steel, has a wood handle, and pumps tires up to 160 psi, which is good enough for any uni. It'll fit both schraeder (round and flat on top, most valves in North America) or presta (has a thingy sticking up that you have to loosen) without changing anything, because the air hose head has both built-in. A 2" guage will tell you how much air you have in your tire. There's a swivel bezel on the guage with an arrow that you can set to tell you when to stop pumping. Use it before every ride to ensure you have the exact pressure you need in your tire. Excellent value. $25 CAD. Recommend (DT)
